Regional Sales Manager – South East

Location: Home & Field Based – Kent/South London

Job Role: To generate new business and grow existing customer accounts, covering the South East of England. To assist with customer queries and technical issues, providing guidance and building strong customer relationships.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned geographic area to maximize new business revenue
  • Proactively generate new leads.
  • Maintain & build relationships with existing customers.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and technical issues.
  • Communicate with customers to understand their needs & promote new product launches.
  • Be independent and proactive, keep up to date with the industry & competitors.
  • Book in meetings & manage time effectively.
  • Work with the internal sales team, to offer excellent service to all customers.
  • Help to evaluate marketing activity to ensure optimum performance & ROI.
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to your manager to ensure growth in your region.
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop and review campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline, use CRM System to capture lead generation activity & provide management with regular updates.

Special Requirements

This post would suit an individual with proven experience within the security industry.
Sales experience is not necessary as full training will be provided.
The role is field based with the expectation that you will work from home 1 day per week.
The post holder is expected to cover a wide geographical area, so extensive travel and occasional overnight stays is necessary.

Experience

 

Experience of working within the security industry in any role.

 

Experience of working with suppliers / manufacturers within the security industry.

Qualifications

 

No formal qualifications needed.

 

GCSE in Maths and English.
