Technical Support Engineer

Location: Haslingden, Lancashire

Job Role: We are recruiting an enthusiastic and talented Technical Support Engineer to help propel our cutting edge electronic intruder alarm products to a world-wide stage. The successful candidate will gain the opportunity to work within a close knit team as part of a fast growing and remarkable company.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing telephone, email and online technical support to installation engineers
  • Provide technical training sessions for customers and internal staff
  • Assist R&D with product testing, software and hardware
  • Help create FAQs and Technical guides

  • Keen interest in electronics and software
  • Good familiarity with MS Office / Windows / Smartphone apps

The Successful Candidate Must:

  • Have a minimum of two years experience in a customer contact role
  • Enjoy working in a busy office environment, but also work well alone
  • Use their own initiative and have close attention to detail
  • Be confident, personable and driven
  • Be organised, self-motivated and reliable

This role is open to candidates with a minimum of 2 years customer support experience. Experience within the intruder alarm industry is not essential as full training will be provided. Salary would depend on level of experience.
